Coloured Stones

If you prefer to use coloured stones or to mix them with diamonds then your options for colour and shape are virtually endless.

Traditionally sapphires, rubies and emeralds have been classed as ‘precious’ as these stones are among the hardest and most valuable, all other coloured stones are called as ‘semi-precious’.

Traditionally it would be the precious group of stones that would be set with diamonds but there is no need to restrict yourself when there are so many interesting, vibrant and subtle colours available.

I have used many colours and recently made a commission which contained stones in all the colours of a tropical sunset, so, name a colour and I’ll find you a stone.
