Part of the larger 'Flow Dinner Service' this tureens elliptical body is an echo of the sweeping curves in the tail feathers of the Silver Pheasant. The ebony handle and rock crystal finial pick up the monochrome colouring of the bird, which is continued in the black enamel stripe which runs horizontally across each handle.

The T shaped silver handles are insulated, to protect the carrier from the heat of the contents.
